Education: Minimum Bachelors in Information Technology / Computer Science / Computer Engineering from an HEC recognized / reputable foreign university Experience: 4 to 6 years experience relevant to the field Location: DHA/ Gulshan Karachi Gender: Female/ Male Requirements: – Proven work experience as a certified system engineer -Advanced knowledge of network and application data communication ports, protocols and formats. – In-depth knowledge of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, and MacOS. -Advanced knowledge of on-prem and in-cloud infrastructure, deployment architectures and security. – Technical knowledge of wireless access points, switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, HSMs, VPCs, VPNs, virtualization, controllers, proxies, databases, web and application server systems & virus protection. – Advanced knowledge of data replication, protection, and backups for databases, logs, and files. – Experience in creating, managing, and administering organizational networks, IT systems, and hosting infrastructure and their security, both on-prem and in-cloud. – Experience in working on AWS, Azure, and GCP clouds for their IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings and services. -Experience in deploying and configuring popular web, application, and database servers such as Apache, Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, etc. – Experience in setting up and maintaining scalable app and database server clusters. -Experience in working with the DevOps team in setting up CI/CD pipelines. -Extensive experience in the security hardening of servers on Linux. – Experience in setting up Jump Servers / Bastion Hosts and SSH access on cloud infrastructure. All or any of these certifications would be a plus CCNA / CCNP/ MCSE/ CSEP/ CISSP
